I have worked with Dr. Trevor Crawford since October 2019, and have enjoyed being supervised by him for my PhD studies. As a supervisor Trevor is encouraging and always helps me to find opportunities. Therefore I attended several conferences during my first year, and became a member of the Experimental Psychology Society. He also suggested that I should apply for the Code-Switch Research Consultancy Programme, which I am currently partaking in, where I have learnt a lot. In addition to being encouraging Trevor is also positive and good at asking questions about the meaning of results I obtain – which often leads to interesting discussions. During my first year we often agreed to read a paper before a meeting, and then reviewed the paper during the meeting. This was very helpful both in gathering knowledge, but also improved my understanding of the information in the papers.
